Mozilla 1.2.1 Released
Mozilla 1.2.1 is out. This is our latest stable release and users of all previous versions are encouraged to upgrade to this release for features, as well as performance, stability, and security fixes. It contains the fix for the DHTML bug that prompted us to pull Mozilla 1.2. See the release notes for more info.

Chimera 0.6 Released
Chimera is a browser for Mac OS X with a native Cocoa front end, based on Mozilla's Gecko layout engine. Changes in 0.6 include improvements to plugins, keychain support, better cookie management, and Talkback support. Talkback helps you send in crash reports so developers can track where crashes occur and fix the problems. See the release notes for more details. Download it now.

Phoenix 0.4 Released
Phoenix 0.4 is now available. This release features type ahead find and improvements to the address bar, tabbed browsing, toolbar customization, popup blocking, themes, and more.

Creating Applications with Mozilla
O'Reilly's Creating Applications with Mozilla is now available. This book shows you how to build your own Mozilla applications and provides information on using XUL, JS, CSS, XBL, XPCOM, RDF and more. The contents of the book are also available under the Open Publication License at books.mozdev.org.

API Announcement Mailing List
We have created a new low volume mailing list mozilla-api-announce@mozilla.org for notification of API changes. Gecko embedders and component developers are encouraged to sign up to receive notifications when interfaces are frozen or under review.

Bugzilla 2.16.1 Released
Bugzilla 2.16.1 and 2.14.4 were released today; 2.16.1 is the latest stable Bugzilla release; both fix a number of security bugs. 2.14 users are encouraged to upgrade to 2.16.1. See the Bugzilla project page and the current status report for more information.

Netscape 7.0 Released
Netscape Communications has launched Netscape 7.0 the latest version of Netscape's browser software, which is based on Mozilla 1.0.1. Mozilla users should read the release notes before installing Netscape 7.

Gecko Embedding Guides
Check out the newest documentation for Gecko, Mozilla's layout engine. Gecko Embedding Basics offers a high level description of how to embed Gecko in your application. Gecko Embedding API Reference is a first cut at documenting Gecko's frozen interfaces.

This is our latest and greatest release. New to Mozilla? Get this.

Mozilla 1.0.1
This is a new version of Mozilla 1.0 containing fixes for many security, stability, dataloss and performance problems. Mozilla 1.0 users should upgrade to this if they're too timid for 1.2.1.

Nightly Builds
Created most weekdays from the previous day's work, these will probably work, but maybe not. Use them to verify whether a bug you're tracking has been fixed. MacOS 9, MacOS X, i386 Linux, Windows, Linux PPC, Solaris, Irix, BeOS, HPUX, OS/2, BSD/OS, etc.
